Twelve couples began a match play journey over the month of June, competing to win the 2008 Couples Match Play Championship. The full sixteen bracket field was four teams short of full, so the higher seeds received a bye in the first round. During the second round the competition started to heat up. Many close matches were played and the winning couples after the second round representing the final four was Terry and Mary Lynn Riddle, John and Connie Puklavetz, Jim and Sharon Morris and John and Pat Kirkman. Advancing to the finals were the Riddle’s and the Kirkman’s. The finals were played on Friday, June 20th and Terry & Mary Lynn Riddle (pictured on left) defeated John and Pat Kirkman (pictured on right) after a great match.
